Sofia & Theo at the Old Stone Barn
Four hundred feet of string lights, a first dance that broke down laughing twice, and the photograph that now lives at the top of this notebook.

Every day in this section actually happened. Each one opens with the full vendor credit list — photographer, florist, venue, all named — and a short story from me about what the day felt like from where I stood. Break the wax seal to open one.

Ideas I test before asking a real couple to trust me with them. No seal here — these days were imagined, not lived.
Between the weddings
Timelines, venue questions, and the small decisions that separate a wedding you survive from one you remember — learned the honest way, over ten years.
The planner
I'm Simone Beaumont. For ten years I have planned weddings across New England — barns in Vermont, bluff-side estates in Stonington, Newport lawns, chapels in the snow. I was at every wedding in this notebook: on the timeline, on the radio, in the back of the barn during the toast, holding the umbrella nobody photographs.
The Ivory Notebook is where I keep what those days actually felt like — the couples by name, the vendors credited in full, and the moments that never make the vendor directory. A wedding is a keepsake. It deserves to be written down like one.
